    tratamiento estimulacion ovarica

Have you ever wondered how long does In Vitro Fertilization last? Many patients like to know the duration of each treatment in order to plan how many days they should stay in Cancun. Since each treatment has a different duration, today we will talk about the In Vitro Fertilization process.

At Advanced Fertility Center Cancun, our fertility clinic, we help you plan a safe trip to Cancun for your fertility vacations.

We want you to know what procedures are performed from the first moment we serve you. We will share a little about the ovarian stimulation procedure.

Before this procedure you should have a consultation with your doctor so he can guide you, analyze you and provide the necessary medications.

    • On Day 1: On the first to third day of the period, ovarian stimulation will begin. The instructions will be shared with you by your specialist.
    • Day 3: You will have an appointment to obtain your estradiol blood levels. If your medication dose is too high or too low, your doctor may change the dose.
    • Day 5, 7 and 9: You will have follicular monitoring appointments with your doctor.
    • Day 10: 36 hours before the capture, we will apply a medicine called “Oviderelle”. It is used to prepare the follicles for capture.
    • Day 12: This day the eggs will be captured and fertilized. A semen sample from your partner will be required.

*In case the treatment is a cryopreservation or preservation of the eggs, these will only be frozen and stored.

    • Day 17: It is the tentative date of the embryo transfer. You must arrive at the clinic 30 minutes before the scheduled time so that you can fill out the consents and prepare for the procedure.

10 days after the transfer, your doctor will order a urine pregnancy test to verify that the procedure worked.

Dates are tentative, and may vary depending on patients. Do not forget to write us your doubts so that our specialists can provide you with more information.

Now that we have shared information about the length of stay for your In Vitro Fertilization treatment. We would like to know what other questions or doubts you may have about Advanced Fertility Center Cancun that you would like our medical team to resolve. You can share them in the comments.
