Do you know what is endometriosis? There are different conditions in some women that can affect their daily life. In this case, we will talk about endometriosis, what it is, what is one of the most common symptoms and if it can affect a woman’s fertility.

Before explaining about endometriosis, it’s important to know what the “endometrium” is. This is a tissue found inside the uterus that usually changes during menstruation.
Endometriosis, then, is a chronic disease where the growth of this tissue outside the uterus. It is caused mainly by hormones such as estrogen and progesterone.
One of the most common symptoms of endometriosis is severe abdominal pain, also called dysmenorrhea. Many women usually feel menstrual cramps during menstruation, however, when these are severe enough to prevent you from leading a normal life, we recommend seeing a specialist. Feeling strong cramps during each menstruation is not normal.

What can you do if menstrual pain is severe?
