    Fertilidad en hombres y mujeres

👩🏻‍🍼 At Advanced Fertility Center Cancun we want to help you
identify the fertility problems you are facing 🧑🏻‍🍼

The ability to conceive is one of the most fascinating and beautiful aspects of human life. Both men and women experience a stage in which they are more fertile and have a greater chance of conceiving a child. In this article, we will explain in detail the fertile stage in men and women, and provide valuable information on how to make the most of this stage for those who wish to have children.

    The fertile stage in women.

In women, the fertile stage is associated with the menstrual cycle. An average menstrual cycle lasts about 28 days, although it may vary foreach woman. The fertile stage refers to the time when an ovum is released from one of the ovaries and is ready to be fertilized by a sperm. This usually occurs around the middle of the menstrual cycle and is known as ovulation.

Ovulation occurs when the mature ovum is released from the ovary and travels through the fallopian tubes to the uterus. The duration of the fertile stage in women is relatively short, approximately 12 to 24 hours after the release of the ovum. To increase the chances of conceiving, it’s important to have sexual relations during the days prior to ovulation, since sperm can survive in the female reproductive tract for several days.

There are several methods to determine ovulation in women. The most common methods include monitoring basal body temperature, examining cervical mucus, and using ovulation predictor kits. These tools can help identify when ovulation is most likely to occur and increase the chances of conceiving.

    The fertile stage in men.

Unlike women, men don’t experience menstrual cycles. Instead, their fertility capacity remains largely constant throughout their adult lives. However, there are certain factors that can influence the quality and quantity of sperm produced.

General health plays an important role in male fertility. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, regular exercise and avoiding harmful habits such as smoking and excessive drinking, can contribute to better sperm quality.

It’s important to keep in mind that sperm can survive in the female reproductive tract for several days, which means that having sex regularly throughout the menstrual cycle can increase the chances of conceiving. There is no specific “best” time for men to be fertile, as their ability to conceive remains constant.
