How is egg donation done?

This process involves the donation of eggs by a female donor and the gestation of the embryo by a woman acting as a surrogate. This method has proven to be an effective and viable option for male couples who wish to have biological children.

The process:

• Selection of the egg donor: The first step is the selection of an egg donor.
• Ovarian stimulation and egg retrieval: Once selected, the donor undergoes an ovarian stimulation treatment to produce multiple eggs.
• Sperm collection: One of the men in the couple will provide a sperm sample, which will be used to fertilize the donor’s eggs in a laboratory.

• Fertilization and embryo culture: The fertilized eggs are cultured in a controlled environment for a few days until they develop into viable embryos.
