Female infertility is understood as trying to get pregnant and not being successful. This is a problem that affects millions of couples around the world. It is estimated that between 10 and 18% of women have problems getting pregnant.
The causes of female infertility are difficult to diagnose but most are due to ovulation. When problems with ovulation occur, they are known as ovulation disorders. This means that the woman ovulates very infrequently. These ovulation disorders can be caused by problems with the regulation of reproductive hormones or by problems with the ovary.

Too much prolactin.
Excess prolactin production reduces estrogen production and causes infertility
Another cause of infertility is some damage that is seen in the fallopian tubes. When the fallopian tubes are blocked or damaged, sperm cannot reach the egg. The same damage to these can also block the passage of the fertilized egg to the uterus.
It occurs when the tissue that grows in the uterus manages to implant and grow in other places causing scars to form that block the fallopian tubes and prevent the sperm from joining with the egg. Endometriosis can also affect the lining of the uterus and cause implantation of the fertilized egg to stop.
The cervix can also be affected and be a cause of female infertility since it can affect fertilization at the time of interfering with implantation or, also, it can increase the chances of having an abortion.
